Plaza Casino

The United Africa Group in Windhoek commissioned Sam Esra Dezigns in South Africa, to design the conversion of their 680 square meter basement , into The Plaza Casino.
This being at the basement level of the Hilton Hotel in Windhoek and categorized as a separate property to the hotel.
Situated below the Hilton Hotel , the doors opened in June 2015 . The public were welcomed by a fresh new contemporary and modern design, with low oval ceilings and multi coloured changing LED lights.

We custom designed each gaming top, adding brightness and fun to the main casino, plus sophistication to the Prive tops. The walls were covered in matt gold imported wallpaper and the gaming stools in light gold vinyl.
The brightly patterned custom made carpets are mesmerizing to look at and a unique choice by Sam Esra Dzsigns, for casinos in Southern Africa. The full-length bar with imported Plexiglass from Germany and colour changing LEDs, turns from deep purple to indigo, complementing the illuminated slot machines and purple gambling tables.
The reception counter, with its fresh lemon coloured Plexiglass, creates a contemporary entrance ambience as the public enter.
The casino appears uncluttered and streamlined, providing a pleasing environment and night out for patrons and the high punters of Windhoek.
